Seph Ronden grew up in west Texas and always had a passion for reading.  He attended Abilene Christian University and received a bachelor’s degree in Education.  Soon after college he entered the US Air Force via Officer Training School in San Antonio, Texas.  Over the following 25+ years he served all around the United States and many overseas assignments including Iceland, Germany, Greece, Greenland, The Netherlands, and deployments in the Middle East.  He continued his education while in the military by earning a master’s degree in Aerospace Systems Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, as well as attending Squadron Officer’s School, Air Command and Staff College, and Air War College.  Seph’s military training and duty experience includes nuclear command and control, search and rescue, air defense, and operating space systems.  He retired from the Pentagon as a Colonel in 2012 and now lives in central Texas with his lovely wife and four of his five children.  Currently he owns a ranch, where he raises cattle and poultry, and pursues his hobbies of writing, blacksmithing and enjoying time out in nature with his family.
